Billy “The Kid” Coffey and BTK Motorsports hit the net with new website.
Linwood, NY – March 1, 2008
Long time racer Billy Coffey is back in the hunt to find victory lane again in 2008 in the 270 micro sprint ranks and launches his new website with the help of Motorsport Image. Many may know Coffey from his 360 sprint car days when he campaigned the #13 Sprinter Express entry with the Empire Super Sprints where he collected 6 A-Main feature wins in his 360 sprint car stint.
Since the break-up of the Sprinter Express team, Coffey to a trip back to his roots where he started his racing addiction, the micro sprints. Coffey has amassed 38 A-Main feature wins over his micro sprint racing career, with 8 of them coming last season.
Coffey contacted friend Chris Rhynold about where he could get a website for the team in late January and asked if he still did websites. Rhynold who had built websites for former ASCS Patriot Champion Billy Krull and Southern Ontario Sprint racers Tim Phillips and Jim Porter had since put away the website making tools to further more look after the operations at Dirt Track Digest and help out with the media department at Genesee Speedway. After a couple of weeks of contemplation that’s when Rhynold put together Motorsports Image and re-contacted Coffey about getting him a website.
“The website looks great and has really come together in a real short period of time. In a matter of a week and a half we are ready to go with it. It has an integrated news program, a photo gallery and we even added a message board at the last minute.” stated Coffey. “It’s a great marketing tool too. The site had been loaded up for testing for a couple of days and I have picked up 2 sponsors already because we have a nice clean site”, adds Coffey.
Look for Billy Coffey at the track as he will sure to be ripping it up with his RTS Chassis Micro Sprint and is looking for a ride in a 600cc Micro sprint or 360 sprint car.
