Coffey getting closer to first win of the season.
Linwood, NY – May 24, 2008
After being plagued with problem, things are starting to finally iron themselves out and Coffey has had his best weekend of the season so far.
Finishing second from his third place starting position in the heat, it placed him fourth on the starting grid for the feature at Paradise Speedway.
Coffey worked his way to second place and was hounding the leader and mounted a challenge on the outside with two laps to go and just when the pass was almost complete the caution flag flew which moved Coffey back to second place and was not able to mount another challenge in the remaining laps.
So far this season at Paradise Speedway all of the race winners have come from the front row of the 270 CC Feature and Coffey has been one of few who has been able to battle his way to the front and work his way through traffic.
